The 2019 World Cup Ballroom Dancing and Global Superstar Open was held with more than 2,000 participants, including world and intercontinental champions from more than 30 countries and regions. Expats in the Haishan Subdistrict also participated in the competition, which promotes cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries and the further development of the regional cultural, sports and tourism industries.
